Field Weekend 3 Results

Weigh Master’s Report Field Weekend Three
1-3 November 2019
Field Weekend Three was kindly sponsored by Crafty’s and was a challenge weekend where every try the All Blacks scored earned double points for the corresponding number of fish. With the All Blacks scoring six tries in their play-off with Wales, big points were on offer. Unfortunately, a persistent south westerly weather system meant catch numbers were low, with the exception of James Benge who brought nine fish to the scales, eight of them being Gurnard.
James’s outstanding catch included three pin Gurnard and a huge total of 2130 points which leap-frogged him to the top of the points table. Great effort James!
The other stand out for the weekend was Mark Ives with an impressive pin Snapper of 8.47kg and an equally impressive pin Gurnard of 1.25kg.
Kane took away the Gun City Jackpot prize with his 2.98kg Blue Moki, nice work Kane!
A big thanks to our generous sponsors, remember to get out and support them.
Field weekend four is another early-bird weekend kicking off on Friday 15th of November with a new Jackpot fish of a Kahawai over 2.8kg.
