Hard fishing was the name of the game this field weekend. Conditions restricted members to areas inside the Napier boundary where the southerly swells would be less. Places Like TeAwanga and Weshore/Bay-view were the only fishable areas with northern beaches being hammered by big swells.
Twenty five hardy fishos participated and 14 managed to bring fish to the weigh in.
Three members caught nice Moki with the heaviest being 2kg caught by Jimmy Beazley.
Best Kahawai was a 2.82kg (pin fish) caught by Kane Wrigglesworth.
