Well Happy 2016 to you all, hope you had a good X mas and a enjoyable new year.
First I’d like to thank all of those who attended todays weigh in with your patience with me having to run the weigh in.
Secondly, congratulations and well done to those who got out and about over the weekend and managed to catch fish. Especially Hamish Nichol with his morning haul from Gill Road , an impressive 14.8kg Kingfish….
So 24 anglers got out and about to brave the wind and good seas….
38 Fish were caught with the efforts made.
30 of these being Kahawai, the heaviest going to Mark Taylor with a pin one at 2.68kg. Second to Simon TeWhaiti also with a pin one at 2.54kg and third going to Peter Kilkelly who was just shy of a pin at 2.46kg.
Six Spotted Smooth Hound (SSH) were landed, the heaviest and pin of 6kg going to Kane Wrigglesworth. Second was Simon TeWhaiti with one at 4.58kg and third Kane Wrigglesworth with 3.6kg.
