FW Six 2021/22 Weighmaster’s report

Field Weekend Six, was kindly sponsored by Hamills and was a challenge weekend with 300 bonus points on offer for anyone weighing three or more species. This turned out to be a tough challenge with only Kevin O’Connor bringing three species to the scales! His 500-gram Hewihewi securing the extra 300 points. Well done Kevy!

Although fishing was hard for most, there was one absolute standout for the weekend, Karim brought a limit bag of healthy Snapper to the scales with four of them over 3kg! His 1580 points for Field Weekend Six sees him take the lead in the open comp at the halfway point in the season. Kane is close behind in 2nd with George in 3rd.

Field Weekend Six saw four pin fish weighed. Mark Ives with a Kahawai (2.58kg). Kevy, a Blue Moki (3.07kg). Karim a Snapper (6.4kg) and Andy Gunn a solid Kingfish (10.83kg). Kevy’s Blue Moki also took out the $50 jackpot prize.
Please make an effort to support our generous sponsors, their ongoing support of our club is hugely appreciated.

Field Weekend Seven kicks of on Friday 4th of Feb with the weigh-in at the fire station at midday Sunday. Good luck to all members getting out for a fish.
Tight lines,
Hamish.
