There were some standouts however, with three pin fish weighed. New member Ian weighed a solid Kingfish of 8.74kg, Dion with a Snapper just under the 20-pound mark of 8.79kg, and Kane with a new club record Trevally of 3.35kg, beating a 23 year old record. Well done guys!
Crafty’s prizes went to Dion for the heaviest Snapper, Ian with his Kingfish for heaviest Other, Hamish for average weight Kahawai and Kane took out a prize for his record Trevally. Xavier B took out the Junior prize with his Kahawai of 2.29kg.
This weekend was a double-points challenge where the first of every species weighed received double points. As a result, the Point-to-Date table has Kane in a commanding lead with 3565 points, followed by James B with 1935 and Jason Christenson in third with 1815 points. Xavier B has taken an early lead on the Juniors table with 380 points.
Kane also leads the Species-to-Date table with five species, followed by Jason, Pete, Matt T, Dion and George all with four.
Once again, the Jackpot fish of a SSH over 5kg was not struck and will Jackpot to Field Weekend Four.
Field Weekend Four is an Early Bird weekend, kicking off at 6pm Friday 20th November, with weigh-in at midday Sunday. Normal club boundaries apply.
